CON-EX Cold Water Wash Additive - for wash treatment of clothing, pillows, duvets, soft toys

Con-ex is a cold water wash additive used to remove house dust mites during laundering. It should be used in a machine or hand wash at 30ºC.

The advantage of using Con-ex is that clothes and textiles, natural or synthetic, no longer need to be hot washed at 60ºC in order to eradicate house dust mites. Con-ex can be used for clothing and for washable pillows, blankets, duvet covers, soft toys, small rugs and cushions for example.

Allerayde explains…

Con-ex contains benzyl benzoate, an effective mite remover which has been extensively tested and found safe. It leaves no residue after the rinse cycle.

One 200ml. bottle of Con-ex is sufficient for 10 twenty litre washes or equivalent. As many modern washing machines only use 10 litres of water per wash, there is sufficient additive for 20 washes. Con-ex is recommended for use twice a year.
